At Vera Art Studio, we believe in the power of art to connect people, tell stories, and inspire change. On February 1, 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Voice in Power event at Rec Studio in Philadelphia. This special gathering, PHILLY - A Poetry Open Mic Experience | Just Mike the Poet, brought together artists, poets, and creatives for an unforgettable night.
A Celebration of Culture and Creativity
Voice in Power is all about storytelling, community, and artistic expression. As a studio that merges traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity, we were thrilled to contribute to this dynamic event. Our live session gave attendees a hands-on experience with Turkish mosaic art and rug tufting, allowing them to tap into their creativity and craft something beautiful.
Bringing Hands-On Art to the Community
Throughout the event, we invited participants to engage in an interactive workshop, where they could experiment with vibrant mosaic tiles and explore the intricate techniques of rug tufting. It was incredible to see how people embraced the creative process and expressed themselves through art.
